Management Analyst/Planner

City of Troy

Pay Range: $58,000-$65,000

The City of Troy is recruiting a Management Analyst/Planner to assist with a variety of community development initiatives. Projects and duties include: support/assistance to Development Staff on: Comprehensive Land Use Plan; economic development loans and recruitment activity; zoning permit review; representation on various City Committees; research and identification of grant opportunities to advance community revitalization initiatives; administration of the City’s exterior home repair program; and development/oversight of the rental registration program. Candidates will have an opportunity to interact regularly with the Ohio Department of Development, acquiring an extensive knowledge of state and federal grant programs and initiatives including CHIP (Community Housing Impact and Preservation program) and CDBG (Community Development Block Grant program). The Development Department acts as the agent for all City grant applications, therefore this individual will get to know and work with staff from all City departments. The hiring range for this position is $58,000 to $65,000 per year dependent upon experience and qualifications.
