City of Cleveland Heights
The City of Cleveland Heights is seeking proposals from qualified, creative consultants or consultant teams to work collaboratively with the City administration, key stakeholders, and general public to develop a community- and data-driven Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Master Plan. With equity and resiliency at its core, the community has a strong commitment to provide fair and just access to high-quality parks, open space, recreation facilities and programs for all members of the community and this master plan will help us achieve our commitment. Our goal through this project is to create a community- and data-driven plan that guides our investments and strategies for the community’s system of parks, open space, conserved lands, recreation and programs over the next 10 years. We intend for this plan to be based on established standards for park, recreation, and open space safety and quality, and guided, in part, by the National Recreation and Parks Association’s (NRPA) “10-Minute Walk” principles for park access. The consultant will work closely with City staff, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Planning Commission, and other key stakeholders in preparing the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan
