Salary Range: $117,332.80 – $129,064.00
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Develops and implements the City’s comprehensive land use plan, administers zoning codes and ordinances, provides planning and zoning advice and guidance to City leaders, and supervises assigned staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: An example of acceptable qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field required; supplemented by seven years of progressively responsible experience in urban or regional planning, to include supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage on the City’s vehicle insurance plan.
The hiring range for this position is $117,332.80 – $129,064.00 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, including a comprehensive benefits package.
