This webinar will explore the Deven Eco-Industrial Park located in Deven, Massachusetts with its Executive Director Neil Angus, which for over the last 33 years has used a unique eco-industrial park model based on community involvement and management structure which is both unique and novel in the industrial park industry.
A glimpse into the future of warehouse design will be provided by Marty Brennan, Lead Project Architect who’s firm ZGF Architects recently designed Amazon’s newest delivery station in Elkhart, Indiana. Amazon’s D115 Delivery Station shows how logistic facilities can be thoughtfully designed to serve both people and the planet. This isn’t just any site: Amazon implemented over 40 sustainability strategies, making it fully carbon neutral, powered by renewable energy, and built with sustainability in mind. The project provides some conceptual direction for future warehouses in Ohio.
