RFP - Community Planning Services
City of Westerville
The City of Westerville, Ohio recognizes the need to update its existing Community Plan (2016) to reflect current dynamic local and regional conditions, address evolving trends, and guide future growth and development. While some of the current plan may remain valid, an assessment is needed to determine the extent of necessary changes and identify potential future focus areas for more detailed planning efforts (Project 1). At the same time, the City intends to undertake a focused area planning study for the South State Street area as a pilot for future targeted planning processes (Project 2).
The ultimate goal is to complete a comprehensive Community Plan Update (future Project 3), which will build upon the work completed in Projects 1 and 2. Projects 1 and 2 may be responded to in total or separately. Respondents to the RFP are not being asked to propose an approach or cost for Project 3 at this time, but its completion is an intended end goal.
