City Planner/Zoning Administrator
City of Tipp City
Pay Range: up to $3,057.60 bi-weekly
The City of Tipp City, Ohio, seeks qualified applicants for the position of City Planner/Zoning Administrator. Under the direction of the Community Development Director, this position is responsible for: the administration, interpretation, and enforcement of the Tipp City Zoning Code and other relevant codes. Additional responsibilities include: administration of city nuisance ordinances; field inspections; drafting of ordinances; and the administration of various municipal board meetings. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban Design, Public Administration, or a closely related field; two to four years of experience in planning, urban design, or development review; or, any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work. Excellent oral & written communication skills are essential. Must possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License. Certification with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) a plus. The pay scale for this position is up to $3,057.60 bi-weekly. w/excellent fringe benefits.
