WELCOME to the Ohio Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA Ohio) website. Our chapter of 1,000+ members is the oldest association of citizen and professional planners in the country. Our history goes back to 1919 with the establishment of the Ohio Planning Conference, a group of interested planning officials who understood the value of planning in our communities. Since that time, the association and its members have changed and evolved but our mission has remained the same -- to promote good planning for the betterment of all Ohioans.
